Head of F&B Operations

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF JOB POSITION

Responsible for overseeing the overall performance, operations and growth of the company business. The role of the Head of F&B Operations includes operations, finance, business development, people management and long-term strategy of the company.

a. Drive the growth of the company business and expand the business beyond the primary services.

b. Control the operating costs of each department to meet the monthly budget.

c. Improve productivity and drive efficiency in the processes.

d. Manage profit & loss (P&L) in each of the department under this business

e. Embrace the SHARE culture and drive the company's vision, mission and values in delivering excellent services to the community.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Strategy and Business Development

Identify new business opportunities and enhance brand visibility.

Identify opportunities for expansions (new outlets, new product lines & etc.)

Monitor food services and food retail market trends.

Introduce new products and improve existing offerings based on market demand.

Work with marketing and department heads to plan seasonal campaigns and promotions.

Develop long term strategy.

2. Financial Performance

Manage profit & loss (P&L) for each of the department.

Set sales targets and drive revenue growth.

Work with department heads to prepare annual budget for the respective departments.

Work with Finance to review action plan to improve financial performance.

Monitor and improve inventory management and wastage in each department.

Identify opportunities to drive cost optimization.

3. Operations Management

Drive accountability of each department head to improve efficiency in processes and resource utilization.

Support department heads to review daily operations to ensure food quality, hygiene and safety standards are met (eg: compliance with local regulations and audit requirements)

Review procurement and inventory management process with Material Management department and Finance.

Establish KPIs with department heads for periodic review with management.

Ensure that product and service standards meet the required regulatory compliance.

Work with department heads to ensure Return on Investment (ROI) of equipment is met.

4. Others

Work with department heads to respond to any audit findings and customer related issues.

Actively participate and attend any Committee meeting when assigned.

Work with Dietitians and Quality department to ensure compliance with policies, procedures and regulatory agencies, namely MSQH, JCI, HALAL, BeSS and etc.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS/SPECIFICATIONS

1. Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a related field.

2. Experience: Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience in retail business, demonstrating the ability to develop and drive new business to meet the company budget.

3. Skills:

- Strong business acumen with business development capabilities.

- Excellent negotiation, communication and presentation skills.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS.

- Ability to lead a team and work with cross functional teams
