UMeWorld is developing Project Verdant, a renewable fuels platform in Southeast Asia focused on securing sustainable, waste-based feedstocks to support future SAF production.
We are seeking a Head of Feedstock, Southeast Asia to lead regional sourcing strategy, supplier network development, and commercial execution across multiple feedstock streams.
This is a senior leadership role with full responsibility for building a scalable, diversified, and compliant feedstock supply platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead overall feedstock sourcing strategy across Southeast Asia
- Build and manage a diversified supply portfolio, including:
- Used cooking oil (UCO)
- Industrial waste oils
- Palm-based waste streams
- Other low-carbon lipid feedstocks
- Develop and manage relationships with:
Aggregators and collectors
Traders and processors
Industrial suppliers
- Negotiate and execute long-term supply agreements and strategic contracts
- Ensure ISCC and sustainability compliance across all sourcing activities
- Monitor market dynamics, pricing trends, and regional supply-demand shifts
- Oversee supplier performance (volume, quality, delivery reliability)
- Identify new sourcing channels to support long-term growth
- Work cross-functionally with logistics, sustainability, and finance teams
- Support investor and lender discussions related to feedstock security
Requirements
- 815+ years experience in:
Biofuel feedstock sourcing
Waste oil / agri-commodity trading
Oleochemical or related supply chains
- Strong existing network across Southeast Asia
- Proven track record of securing supply and closing commercial agreements
- Solid understanding of:
ISCC certification
Traceability requirements
Regional logistics and trade flows
- Strong commercial judgment, negotiation skills, and leadership capability
