Role Description

This full-time, on-site role of Head of Finance is based in WP. Kuala Lumpur. The individual will lead the financial strategy, oversee preparation of financial statements, and manage budgeting processes to ensure financial health and compliance. Key responsibilities include analyzing financial data, preparing detailed financial reports, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making. The Head of Finance will also ensure the organization adheres to all regulatory requirements and manages resources effectively to achieve business goals.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Financial Statements, Financial Reporting, and Finance management
• Proven ability in Budgeting and financial planning
• Excellent Analytical Skills and proficiency in interpreting financial data
• Relevant qualifications such as a degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; professional certifications such as CPA/ACCA/CFA are an advantage

Experience in the insurance industry or financial institutions (FI) is preferred

• Leadership experience in managing teams and collaborating across departments

Proven ability to prepare, present, and explain financial reports to the Board of Directors and senior management, supporting strategic decision-making and governance requirements
