About Our Client & Role:

Our client is a leading player in the metal manufacturing industry, specializing in the production and processing of aluminium products. They are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Head of Human Resources to lead the HR function as the Regional Head of Malaysia. This role will oversee HR operations across multiple manufacturing plants nationwide, driving strategic HR initiatives while ensuring operational efficiency and compliance.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition 

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment strategies across all levels, from operational roles to senior leadership
  • Drive workforce planning initiatives to support business expansion and plant operations
  • Ensure timely hiring to meet operational demands across multiple sites

2. Stakeholder Management

  • Act as a key HR business partner to senior leadership and plant heads
  • Collaborate closely with senior internal stakeholders to align HR strategies with business goals
  • Manage communications and relationships across regional and corporate teams

3. Leadership & HR Operations

  • Oversee full spectrum of HR functions including employee relations, performance management, compensation & benefits, and HR administration
  • Lead and mentor HR teams across multiple manufacturing plants
  • Ensure consistency in HR policies, SOPs, and best practices across all locations

4. Compliance & Labour Law

  • Ensure full compliance with Malaysian Employment Act and relevant labour laws
  • Advise management on legal risks and HR governance matters
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and implement necessary policy adjustments

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role, preferably within manufacturing or industrial environments
  • Strong knowledge of Malaysian employment laws and industrial relations
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multi-site HR operations
  • Excellent stakeholder management and leadership capabilities
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently across plants nationwide
  • Ability to communicate effectively in Mandarin and English (to liaise with diverse stakeholders)

Remuneration Package:

MYR 20,000 - MYR 25,000
