Job Description

Clarks has been defining retail fashion for almost 200 years. Just because our brand has a fantastic history, it doesn't mean we're not looking to the future. We've got some big plans in that areaand our people will deliver them. That's why, right now, we're recruiting a Head of HR to support and deliver our people-first culture for the SEA region.

What You'll Be Doing

As the Head of HR, SEA, you will play a crucial role in developing the employer brand, being the strategic partner to the business, coaching and leading a small but dedicated HR team to deliver our people plan, strategy and HR operations in the region. Working with the GM of SEA/ ANZ and the senior leadership in the area, you will play a key role in driving a people-first culture with Clarks values at its heart. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to make a mark in their career as the company has some exciting plans for the region, and this person will play a vital role in that. The role will be to be accountable for the region's retail and corporate business.

Please note that the office is in Mid Valley City, Lingkaran Syed Putra, 59200 Kuala Lumpur and this role is fully onsite.

What You'll Bring With You

You have experience in Retail, worked in corporate HR functions in a MNC and have in-depth understanding of employment law in Singapore and Malaysia. Your knowledge of HR best practices comes from your years of experience as a Senior HR Business Partner or an all-around HR Manager/ Director. You are very comfortable working with and partnering with senior leaders in the organisation, and you can see the opportunities and risks. You are not shy about communicating your thoughts and ideas on how certain decisions can impact the organisation and brand. You can think outside the box and use analysis to support your recommendations. You are also very focused on ensuring the team can meet set goals and targets. And, of course, the communicative, collaborative, people-focus style marks you out as forward thinking HR professional that we value at Clarks.

Please note that for this role, candidates must have the right to live and work in Malaysia without restriction. Fluent English and local language abilities are also required.
