Head of IT

We are seeking a highly skilled, hands-on Head of IT to lead all technology functions. This role offers the opportunity to establish and manage the firm's IT function locally, ensuring technology supports business operations, compliance, and growth while aligning with global IT standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage the Singapore office's IT infrastructure, systems, and tools.
• Ensure cybersecurity, data integrity, and regulatory compliance across all technology systems.
• Support business operations with effective technology solutions, including portfolio management systems, trading platforms, and productivity tools.
• Act as the primary IT lead locally—hands-on in setup, troubleshooting, vendor management, and end-user support.
• Develop IT policies, processes, and standards to support current operations and future growth.
• Collaborate with global IT teams to align local technology initiatives with group standards and best practices.
• Evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance operational efficiency and business capabilities.

Requirements:

• 10+ years experience in hands-on IT management, preferably in financial services or asset management.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud services, cybersecurity, and software systems.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and solve complex technology challenges.
• Experience setting up IT processes and systems in a small or regional office environment is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work directly with local and global senior management.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
