Role Purpose
- This role manages the overall marketing strategy and execution of the Eucerin brand and portfolio across Malaysia & Singapore to drive profitable growth and strengthen brand equity. With eCommerce representing a significant share of the business, the role requires strong digital brand expertise to drive awareness and engagement across online and offline channels.
- The role works closely with Sales, eCommerce, Digital, Supply Chain, Regulatory and Finance to ensure brand strategies, content and communications are optimized for commercial impact. The position is part of the Malaysia & Singapore Management Team.
- The role has no direct sales responsibility for the ethical channel but owns brand positioning, medical communication and detailing support for that channel.
Key Accountabilities
Drive Brand Growth & Market Leadership
- Lead local Eucerin brand strategy aligned with global and regional direction to drive sales growth and market share
- Monitor business performance and recommend actions to sustain competitive advantage
- Identify growth opportunities through market, consumer and competitive analysis
- Lead cross-functional alignment to ensure integrated campaign execution in line with brand direction
- Ensure consistent brand equity development across channels and balance consumer appeal with medical positioning
Lead Digital & Integrated Communication Excellence
- Lead communication strategy to drive awareness and engagement across channels
- Leverage global and regional platforms to strengthen local brand image and user acquisition
- Own ATL & BTL execution (Digital, Activation, PR, POSM, Media) in line with marketing plan
- Ensure strong content ecosystem supporting eCommerce performance
- Oversee media planning and post-analysis to optimize reach and spend
Own Innovation & Renovation Agenda (NPD & Relaunch)
- Manage innovation pipeline and launch roadmap for MYSG
- Lead launch plans for new products and relaunches
- Ensure cross-functional launch readiness across Marketing, Sales and Supply Chain
- Align demand forecast with Sales and SC to achieve targets and minimize OOS/write-offs
- Secure strong activation and listing readiness across channels
Own Marketing Investment & Financial Discipline
- Manage marketing budget planning deployment within approved allocation
- Ensure disciplined cost management and effective ROI tracking
- Monitor media effectiveness and optimize spend allocation
- Support margin and profitability objectives with Finance
- Contribute to forecast reviews to ensure FY delivery
Build & Lead High-Performing Marketing Team
- Lead a team of 5, comprising 3 direct and 2 indirect reports (including 1 apprentice)
- Coach and develop team capabilities in brand, digital and medical marketing
- Drive culture, accountability and team's engagement for better performance
- Foster strong cross-functional collaboration across MYSG
- Contribute actively to the MYSG Management Team
Your Profile
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field
- 710 years of FMCG / skincare / pharmaceutical marketing experience
- Strong knowledge of brand management and digital marketing
- Solid understanding of medical strategies and detailing
- Analytical mindset with commercial and financial acumen
