Job Description

The Marketing Lead position is a key role to drive the company's short to long term goals. The key responsibilities include:

  • Design and implement strategies to penetrate the Malaysian market, identifying key areas for growth and expansion opportunities.
  • Analyze and report on the Malaysian market's overall performance to headquarters, pinpointing opportunities for optimization and improvement.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with clients and stakeholders while ensuring adherence to local regulations and standards in operations.
  • Leverage data analysis and business intelligence to monitor campaign and project performance, refine strategies, enhance customer satisfaction, and boost conversion rates.
  • Provide leadership and support to the team, enabling each function to excel and contribute to the overall growth of the Malaysian market.
  • Coordinate with headquarters and local departments to ensure offshore operations align with broader business objectives.
  • Stay informed about industry advancements and innovations to maintain the company's competitive edge in offshore operations.

The Successful Applicant


Requirements

The successful candidate is an experienced marketing leader with proven track record of success in leading businesses to achieve growth in a challenging landscape, adapting to the changes in the market. Other requirements include:

  • Bachelor's degree in any related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a start up, digital or online business with strong business acumen and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Travel industry experience is a must-have!
  • Management experience and proven leadership in managing people from diversified backgrounds
  • Proven experience in developing creative fact-based growth strategy
  • A track record of having tackled genuinely ambiguous and strategic problems
  • Highly analytical, structured thinker with strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong sense of ownership and drive
  • Strong ability to influence key stakeholders from various backgrounds and cultures
  • Passion for the online industry and adaptable to change
  • Highly motivated and ready to join a fast-paced environment with high expectations
