Job Description

Are you a natural problem solver who thrives in fast paced environments and knows how to bring structure to chaos Do you love building systems, leading teams, and making sure everything just works even when no one's watching If you're the kind of person who spots issues before they become problems and leads people with clarity and confidence, you might be exactly who we're looking for.

About us:

Dog Friendly Co. is on a mission to elevate every moment of life with your dog. We create high-quality, lifestyle-inspired dog activewear and accessories that match the energy and love people share with their pets. Now, we're looking for a proactive Head of Operations to lead our post purchase operations and keep things running smoothly globally.

You'll be the person who brings structure, accountability, and proactive leadership to a fast paced environment. You'll connect the dots between departments Inventory, CX, Shopify, and Operations ensuring every part of our operation works in sync, and nothing falls through the cracks.

Your Mission:

  • Own end to end operations across our 3PL warehouses, with full oversight of fulfilment, shipping, system performance, and issue resolution
  • Lead and coordinate across departments Inventory, Ecommerce, Customer Experience, IT and fulfilment so the whole post purchase operation runs as one
  • Take over day to day 3PL management: solve delays, pricing issues, inventory discrepancies, system failures, and more
  • Manage and roster our Sydney based customisation team, scaling up during sales or launches to prevent bottlenecks
  • Be proactive, not reactive identify risks before they reach customers and take ownership of resolution
  • Drive cost saving and efficiency improvements across fulfilment and shipping
  • Be present and hands on during sales periods rolling up your sleeves, fixing issues in real time, and supporting the team

You Bring:

  • Proven experience in e-commerce operations, preferably across multiple regions or global markets
  • Strong leadership and coordination skills knowing how to unify teams and hold others accountable without micromanaging
  • A strategic mind, but you're not afraid to get into the weeds when needed
  • Comfort managing remote and casual teams, and working across departments to solve multi-layered issues
  • Experience improving fulfilment systems, saving costs, and refining workflows
  • Availability to work flexible hours, especially around peak trading periods and to accomodate the multiple regions

This is not a junior role.

You won't be doing day to day admin but you will be accountable for the people and systems that do. If you thrive in fast paced environments, are obsessed with operational excellence, and know how to lead from the front this role is for you.
