Head of Operations

About Us

We are a Malaysia-based fintech company building a unified financial services platform that combines Remittance, Digital Payments, and Digital Asset Exchange under one regulated ecosystem. As we prepare for our regulatory go-live, we're looking for an experienced Head of Operations to build and lead our operational function from the ground up.

What You'll Do

• Lead end-to-end operations across Remittance, E-Wallet, and Digital Asset Exchange businesses.
• Build operational processes, SOPs, and internal control frameworks from scratch.
• Drive operational readiness for regulatory licensing and business launch.
• Oversee settlement, reconciliation, treasury operations, and customer support.
• Partner closely with Compliance, Technology, Finance, and senior leadership.
• Manage regulatory engagements with Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) and the Securities Commission Malaysia (SC).
• Recruit, lead, and develop a high-performing Operations team.

What We're Looking For

✔ 8–12 years of operations experience within financial services

✔ At least 3–5 years in a leadership or Head of Operations role

✔ Experience in at least two of the following:

• Remittance / Money Services Business (MSB)
• E-Wallet / Digital Payments
• Digital Asset Exchange / Brokerage

✔ Strong knowledge of operational controls, settlement, reconciliation, AML/CFT, and regulatory requirements

✔ Experience working with BNM and/or SC regulated environments is highly preferred

✔ Proven track record building operational functions in a startup, scale-up, or newly licensed business
