About Our Client
Our client is a leading multinational manufacturing organization within the food & beverage industry, operating at scale with a strong global footprint. The site in Malaysia is a strategic manufacturing location within the regional network with ongoing systems in processes and capability building. Quality and food safety are treated as a business core priorities with strong visibility at site and regional level.
Job Description
- Lead and maintain site Quality Management and Food Safety systems in line with global standards
- Ensure full compliance with regulatory, customer and internal requirements across the manufacturing site
- Own site readiness for internal and external audits
- Oversee quality control processes
- Manage laboratory operations, testing protocols and documentation control
- Drive hygiene, sanitation and food safety practices
- Lead investigations into quality deviations, customer complaints and food safety incidents
- Drive RCA and CAPA implementation
- Support site crisis management where food safety risks are involved
- Lead and coach the site Quality team
- Build a strong quality mindset across the plant, influencing beyond direct reporting lines
The Successful Applicant
A Successful Head Of Quality Should Have
- A degree in Food Science, or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of quality assurance standards and regulations in the FMCG industry.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in implementing quality control systems and processes.
