Head of Retail (Fashion)

We're looking for an experienced Head of Retail to lead and drive the retail business for a well known lifestyle/fashion brand in Malaysia.

This is a strategic leadership role for a commercially driven retail professional who can balance business growth, retail operations, customer experience, and team leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall retail business, covering store operations, sales performance, customer experience, and retail expansion.
• Develop and execute retail strategies to achieve business growth and profitability.
• Drive sales, productivity, and key retail KPIs across the store network.
• Oversee store performance and ensure consistent operational standards across all locations.
• Identify opportunities for new store openings, market expansion, and business development.
• Work closely with Merchandising, Marketing, E-commerce, HR, Finance, and other functions to ensure strong commercial execution.
• Lead, coach, and develop the retail leadership team and store teams.
• Monitor market trends, customer behaviour, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
• Review retail processes and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and customer experience.
• Take full ownership of the retail P&L and overall business performance.

• 10+ years of retail experience, with solid leadership experience managing a multi-store retail network.
• Strong commercial and business acumen, with a proven track record in driving sales and profitability.
• Experience leading retail operations, preferably within fashion or lifestyle retail
