Role Overview

The Head of Sales is responsible for leading the company's sales function, driving business growth, and building a high-performance sales culture across the organization. This role will lead and manage the sales team, strengthen existing customer relationships, expand the company's market presence, and ensure the sales team effectively positions the company's cybersecurity consulting services and related offerings to meet client needs. The role requires strong consultative selling capability, leadership of end-to-end sales execution, and the ability to translate customer requirements into clear solution opportunities by working closely with internal service lines, technical teams, and management.

The Head of Sales will collaborate closely with the Cybersecurity Head of Practice to drive go-to-market strategies and ensure the sales team is fully enabled with necessary product knowledge, training, and sales collateral. Additionally, the role is responsible for the full revenue lifecycle, working with Finance to ensure accurate, timely billing and proactive collections to maintain healthy cash flow.

Requirements And Qualifications

  • Proven experience leading and managing a sales or business development team.
  • Strong capability in people development, with a track record of training and ramping up team members from non-technical or diverse professional backgrounds.
  • Strong understanding of consultative selling and solution-based sales in a professional services environment.
  • Experience engaging enterprise customers and senior decision-makers.
  • Ability to understand client requirements and link them to suitable services, solutions, and commercial proposals.
  • Strong experience in end-to-end proposal management, client presentations, negotiation, and commercial coordination.
  • Good understanding of sales reporting, pipeline management, and business development planning.
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team development capability.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with service delivery, consulting, finance, legal, and management teams.
  • Experience in cybersecurity, risk, compliance, managed services, advisory, or technology consulting is highly preferred.
  • Exposure to regional or international clients is an added advantage.

Common Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Minimum [8–12] years of experience in sales, business development, or account management, preferably in IT services, cybersecurity consulting, or related technology services.
