Why does this job exist and why is it critical

  • Strategic Leadership & Planning

Own the end-to-end segment marketing strategy and planning for all B2B segments.

Align marketing and activation activities with segment sales objectives and customer needs.

  • Market Insight & Proposition Development

Champion market research, customer segmentation, and competitor analysis.

Develop value propositions and go-to-market strategies tailored to each segment.

  • Campaign, Event & Activation Execution

Lead the planning and flawless execution of integrated marketing campaigns, events, activations, and sponsorships.

Oversee logistics, budget, vendor relationships, and ensure impactful customer experiences.

  • Maxis Business Innovation Centre (MBIC) Management

Strategically manage and optimise the MBIC as a showcase for Maxis Business solutions.

Ensure premium customer engagement, daily operations, and technology infrastructure.

  • Sales Enablement & Lead Management

Equip sales teams with insights, training, and tools to engage prospects.

Establish and optimise lead qualification and handoff processes with Sales.

  • Performance Management & Reporting

Define and track KPIs for all marketing, events, and MBIC activities.

Provide regular, data-driven performance reviews and actionable insights to senior management.

  • Team Leadership & People Management

Lead, mentor, and manage Segment Marketing, Events & Activation, and Innovation Centre Specialists.

Foster a culture of creativity, accountability, and operational excellence.

  • Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration

Act as a key liaison with internal teams (Sales and Product/Solutions) and external partners (vendors, agencies).

Ensure seamless collaboration and alignment of all activities with business goals.
