Join as Supply Chain Lead, to be equipped with supply chain hands on knowledge for Asia where they have operation in Malaysia, India, Singapore and China.
This role is responsible for the strategic leadership and execution of end-to-end supply chain operations across Malaysia, Singapore, China and India, encompassing planning, procurement, manufacturing, inventory management, logistics, distribution, and customer fulfillment to achieve operational excellence, cost efficiency, service performance, and business growth
Working Location: Iskandar Puteri, Johor
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage end-to-end supply chain functions, including procurement (eg. machine, tools, metal), inventory management, planning, and supply chain governance.
- Drive inventory optimization initiatives by improving inventory accuracy, reducing aging stock, and enhancing overall supply chain efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, corporate policies, reporting requirements, and regulatory standards across supply chain operations.
- Monitor and analyze supply chain KPIs, develop improvement plans, and drive operational excellence through data-driven decision-making.
- Lead supply chain planning, budgeting, forecasting, and continuous improvement projects, including digitalization and process automation initiatives.
- Collaborate with Finance, Production, and regional/global stakeholders to ensure seamless operations and alignment with business objectives.
- Represent the organization in global supply chain governance platforms, peer groups, and cross-site initiatives to promote best practices and operational synergies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering or related discipline.
- Min 10 years of supply chain management experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within a manufacturing or multinational environment.
- Strong expertise in procurement, inventory management, supply chain planning, governance and operational excellence.
- Proven track in driving process improvements, digital transformation, and supply chain optimization initiatives
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a global matrix organization
