Head of Supply Chain (SG & MY) - Food & Beverage

Job Responsibilities

• Regional Strategy & Network Design
• Business Roadmap: Define and own the regional supply chain vision, focusing on network design and infrastructure scalability to support expansion in SG and MY.
• Business Transformation: Lead the shift from localized, reactive procurement to a unified regional strategy that leverages economies of scale.
• Operational Governance: Establish the Authority Matrix and decision-making frameworks that define how the supply chain team operates and escalates risks.
• Procurement & Strategic Sourcing
• Master Agreements: Lead high-stakes regional negotiations, securing master service agreements and key supplier selections that protect COGS across all markets.
• Supplier Partnership Management: Develop and govern long-term relationships with Tier-1 suppliers and logistics partners, focusing on strategic value and innovation.
• Input Cost Optimization: Take accountability for optimizing gross margins across the 3 markets through proactive sourcing and rebate management.
• Logistics & Demand/Supply Stewardship
• Inventory Integrity: Direct the strategy for product availability while maintaining a rigorous focus on minimizing inventory wastage at the warehouse level.
• Risk Mitigation: Oversee regional supply continuity and risk management strategies to safeguard against market-specific disruptions.Logistics
• Excellence:Manage and optimize relationships with 3PL/4PL partners across the region to ensure logistical efficiency and cost-effective distribution.
• Financial Accountability & Cross-Functional Leadership
• P&L Ownership: Total accountability for the Supply Chain P&L, including annual budget securing, approval, and strategic spend allocation.
• ERP & Data Governance: Collaborate with IT, Finance, and Marketing to ensure ERP inputs/outputs are accurate, driving data-driven decisions across the organization.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the Supply Chain team, fostering a culture of professional growth and high performance.
  
  

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
• At least 5 years of proven experience in leading supply chain management, demand planning, and marketing campaign execution within the fast food, food and beverage, or related industries.
• Strong analytical skills with expertise in data-driven decision-making.
• Excellent project management and organisational abilities – individual contributor role at this moment, no direct reports but will need to manage distribution centre personnel.
• High proficiency in supply chain software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, demand forecasting software).
• Familiarity with both Singapore and Malaysia markets, including cultural nuances and business dynamics.
