Head of Treasury

A leading global technology and financial services organisation is looking for an experienced Treasury Director to build and lead a new global treasury operations function in Kuala Lumpur.

This is a high-impact opportunity for a treasury leader who enjoys building teams, strengthening controls, standardising processes and driving operational excellence across multiple regions.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and lead a global Treasury Services team, creating a scalable operating model

• Oversee global payment controls and act as an authorised payment approver

• Partner closely with regional treasury teams to ensure operational resilience and business continuity

• Oversee banking documentation, bank reviews and annual audit confirmations

• Drive consistency and governance across global treasury processes and documentation

• Manage global e-banking administration and support effective bank account governance

• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through technology, automation and AI

What We're Looking For

• 10–15 years of experience across treasury and/or finance, ideally within a multinational environment

• Strong background in treasury operations, cash management and payment processes

• Experience building, leading or scaling treasury operations, shared services or global support functions

• Strong understanding of controls, governance, audit and operational risk

• Familiarity with TMS platforms, banking technology, e-banking and process automation

• Strong stakeholder management skills with experience working across multiple regions

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline; professional qualifications are advantageous
