As Head, Procurement Excellence, you will strengthen procurement effectiveness across Gentari's Renewables, Hydrogen and Green Mobility businesses. Working closely with the Head, Procurement COE, you will drive fit-for-purpose frameworks, governance practices, performance standards and continuous improvement to enable business growth, project delivery and stronger commercial outcomes.
Responsibilities
Operational Excellence
- Lead initiatives to standardize and improve procurement processes across Gentari's global operations;
- Develop and maintain procurement tools, templates, and reporting dashboards to enhance visibility and performance tracking;
- Identify and implement process improvements that increase efficiency, reduce risk, and support scalability;
- Monitor procurement KPIs and drive continuous improvement through data-driven insights;
- Ensure alignment of procurement operations with internal governance frameworks, including LOA, compliance, and sustainability standards.
Procurement Strategy & Process Excellence
- Support the development and rollout of contracting strategies (e.g., turnkey, dual feed) in collaboration with business units and project teams;
- Support standardization and continuous improvement of procurement processes across Gentari's global operations.
Governance & Compliance
- Ensure procurement activities adhere to Gentari's governance frameworks, including limits of authority (LOA), regulatory requirements, and sustainability standards;
- Monitor compliance and support internal audits and assurance activities;
- Maintain documentation and reporting for procurement governance;
- Conduct periodic reviews and audits of procurement activities to identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities.
Tender Committee Secretariat
- Serve as the secretariat for Tender Committee if required, ensuring timely coordination of meetings, documentation, and decision tracking;
- Facilitate review and endorsement processes for high-value procurement activities in alignment with governance protocols;
- Maintain records of tender deliberations and outcomes to support audit and assurance requirements.
Capability Building & Team Support
- Contribute to procurement capability-building initiatives, including training and knowledge-sharing;
- Mentor junior team members and promote ethical procurement practices;
- Support the Head of COE in leading a high-performing procurement team;
- Support Talent team to design and implement career pathways for procurement professionals, and the development of role-based competency frameworks including talent initiatives.
Reporting & Data Analytics
- Maintain procurement dashboards and reporting tools to monitor KPIs, compliance, and performance trends;
- Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities, supplier risks, and process bottlenecks;
- Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership to support strategic decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Law, Business, or related field;
- Certified Energy Procurement Professional (CEP) or Certified International Procurement Manager certification is an advantage;
- Minimum 7 years of experience in procurement, contract management, or supply chain within infrastructure, construction, or renewable energy sectors;
- Proven experience in process improvement and procurement governance;
- Strong understanding of procurement operations, governance, and compliance;
- Proficiency in procurement systems and performance reporting tools;
- Ability to lead operational improvement initiatives and work in a matrixed organization.
