Job description:
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Director in preparation and implementation of EHS Management System for the Project based on ISO 45001 and ISO14001, Project Safety & Health Plan, Environmental Management Plan, Procedures, Instructions and other relevant Project and legislative requirements.
- Monitor of all relevant EHS requirements and ensuring all requirements are complied.
- Present report on EHS matters in the progress reports and progress meeting.
- Provide report on EHS matters as may be required by the Owner or the authorities.
- Ensure the establishments of the programme for EHS is monitoring, measurement, inspection, checking, training, and audits for the Project.
- Ensure all relevant activities / works to be carried out have the necessary safety and health risk assessment and environmental aspect / impact assessment.
- Ensure all incidents and emergencies at the Project are handled and communicated according to the agreed procedures.
- Report any cases to the Authorities.
- Coordinate and plan for continual improvement activities for the Project.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
- Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, OSHA, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor, ISO 14001 Lead Auditor, or equivalent.
Strong working knowledge of local regulatory requirements (DOSH, DOE, Fire Department regulations, relevant Acts & Codes of Practice).
- First Aid, Fire Safety, or Emergency Response certifications are an added advantage

- Able to communicate with all levels of management, analytical to device strategy and action plans to meet set goal.
- Able to prioritize tasks, manage multiple issues, and meet deadlines
- Strong analytical skills for identifying trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
- Ability to interpret and apply legal requirements, standards, and client specifications.
- Resilient, adaptable, and able to work in fast-paced environments.
- Familiar with digital tools: incident management platforms, EHS reporting systems, Microsoft Office, etc.
Expected Minimum Years of Experience
- Minimum 10 years experience in EHS management, preferably in construction, data centre, manufacturing, or industrial environments.
