Head, Strategic Data Analytics (AVP Level)

Job Purpose:

• Lead the enterprise-wide advancement of data capabilities by modeling and deploying scalable analytics infrastructure and solutions, advanced reporting systems, and performance dashboards.
• Drive the strategic evolution of data analytics solutions through the adoption of cutting-edge analytics approaches i.e., including AI, machine learning, and data automation, alongside integrated data platforms, unified modeling solutions, and robust governance protocols to ensure data integrity and operational excellence.
• Align technical innovation with business strategy by crafting and executing a data roadmap that unlocks actionable insights, empowers decision-making, and supports sustainable organizational growth.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead enterprise-wide data initiatives including analytics infrastructure, reporting systems, and performance dashboards.
• Lead, develop and execute data strategy roadmap aligned with business objectives to maximize insights and decision-making.
• Drive Business Intelligence programs to identify trends and modernize data-driven processes across departments.
• Drive advance data science capabilities and coordinate cross-functional analytics to solve business data challenges.
• Design and implement unified data models, pipelines, and integrated platforms for scalable analytics.
• Explore and apply advanced technologies such as AI, machine learning, and data automation.
• Build and enhance data visualization skills and adopt powerful analytical tools for daily operations.
• Manage core data assets through strategic planning of systems, tools, and methodologies.
• Develop and execute Business Intelligence plans to uncover trends that support strategic decision making and process modernization.
• Oversee lifecycle management of data science i.e., machine learning and advanced analytics projects to deliver robust and trustworthy solutions.
• Lead development of big data capabilities and cross-functional analytics to enhance data modeling and resolve business data issues.
• Lead, design and implement scalable data reporting systems, dashboards, and performance metrics to optimize efficiency and support key decisions.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Data Management, Statistics, AI or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Data Governance, Data Science, and enterprise data management, with exposure to AI and machine learning initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of Business Intelligence, Data Governance and Stewardship, Data Science concepts, data architecture, analytics platforms, and programming languages such as SQL, Python, or R.
• Proven leadership, stakeholder management, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to lead data governance, business intelligence, and advanced analytics initiatives.
