Safety & Health Coordinator (Manufacturing)

Location: Sendayan TechValley, Seremban

Industry: Chemical Manufacturing / Electronic Specialty Gases / High-Purity Electronic Materials

Salary Range: RM3,500, negotiable based on experience

We are currently hiring for the position of Safety Coordinator for an established manufacturing company based in Sendayan TechValley, Seremban.

The hiring company is involved in the manufacturing of chemicals and chemical products, with a focus on high-purity electronic materials and electronics specialty gases. Its products support industries such as semiconductor, LED, LCD, photovoltaic, and other advanced electronics manufacturing markets.

This role is suitable for candidates with experience in workplace safety coordination, safety inspections, safety documentation, incident reporting, compliance monitoring, PPE control, emergency response support, and safety awareness activities within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Requirements

• Possess at least a Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Safety, Engineering, Science or another related discipline.
• Candidates with other qualifications may be considered if they possess relevant workplace-safety experience.
• Have approximately 1–3 years of experience in safety coordination, occupational safety, manufacturing safety or a related function.
• Manufacturing, chemical, industrial-gas, electronic-material or semiconductor-related experience is an advantage.
• Familiar with workplace inspections, hazard identification, HIRARC, PPE control, incident reporting and safety documentation.
• Able to assist with safety documentation and regulatory matters involving JKKP/DOSH, BOMBA and other relevant authorities.
• Exposure to chemical handling, Safety Data Sheets, scheduled waste or environmental compliance is an advantage.
• An OSH Coordinator certificate or other relevant safety competency certification is an advantage but not compulsory.
• Good documentation, communication, coordination and follow-up skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly for safety records, reports and compliance documentation.
• Good command of Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Mandarin communication ability is an advantage due to communication with overseas management.
• Able to work independently and support daily safety activities at the manufacturing plant in Sendayan TechValley.
