URGENT VACANCY: SAFETY AND HEALTH OFFICER (SHO)

MYFutureJobs is recruiting on behalf of an established Bumiputera Grade G7 construction and engineering company specializing in road and infrastructure projects.

Location: Seremban, Negeri Sembilan

Salary: RM8,000 per month

Immediate availability is strongly preferred

Mandatory Requirements

• Registered Safety and Health Officer with DOSH/JKKP.
• Possess a valid Green Book.
• Minimum 4–5 years of experience as a Safety and Health Officer.
• Proven SHO experience in road and/or bridge construction projects.
• Familiar with JKR procedures, safety requirements and working methods.
• Sound knowledge of OSHA requirements and applicable HSE regulations.
• Able to work full-time at the project site in Negeri Sembilan.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, implement and manage the project's safety and health management system.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, company procedures and JKR project requirements.
• Identify site hazards, prepare risk assessments and monitor HSE performance.
• Conduct safety inductions, briefings, training and toolbox meetings.
• Conduct workplace inspections, safety meetings and audits.
• Enforce the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment.
• Prepare daily manpower reports and maintain site-pass records.
• Maintain all safety documentation, reports and statutory records.
• Assist during audits and inspections.
• Liaise with JKR, government authorities, consultants, contractors and site personnel on safety matters.
• Work closely with project teams and department heads on safety, health and environmental requirements.
