Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Officer located in Bukit Batu. The HSE Officer will be responsible for ensuring workplace safety, maintaining compliance with environment, health, and safety (EHS) regulations, and promoting a culture of safety within the organization. Daily tasks include conducting risk assessments, implementing and monitoring safety procedures, ensuring compliance with occupational health standards, providing safety training to employees, and reporting and managing incidents effectively.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and experience in Health & Safety, Environment Health and Safety (EHS), and Occupational Health.
- Expertise in Workplace Safety procedures and guidelines, as well as relevant certifications such as NEBOSH or equivalent.
- Ability to conduct risk assessments and implement preventive measures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Excellent communication and training skills to educate employees on safety practices.
- Prior experience in safety management within the engineering or power sector is an advantage.
- A diploma, degree, or professional certification in safety management, environmental science, or a related field.
