Ensure compliance with company safety policies, industry standards, and legal requirements.
Implement and maintain the EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) Management System.
Conduct regular inspections in the manufacturing plant to identify hazards and unsafe practices.
Monitor machinery, equipment, and processes to ensure safe operations.
Organize safety training, briefings, and induction programs for employees.
Liaise with authorities such as Department of Occupational Safety and Health Malaysia (DOSH), Department of Environment Malaysia (DOE), and Fire and Rescue Department of Malaysia.
Investigate and report accidents, incidents, and near misses, and maintain proper records.
Support and coordinate Safety & Health Committee activities, including acting as Secretary when required.
Assist in audits and ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively.
Enforce safety practices and promote a strong safety culture on-site.
Perform any other duties assigned by management.
Requirements
Must possess a valid Green Book registered with Department of Occupational Safety and Health Malaysia.
Diploma/Degree in Occupational Safety & Health or related field.
Minimum 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Good knowledge of Malaysian safety laws and regulations.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
