Functional

.Primary responsibility is to originate and develop business opportunities with Public Sector, GLCs and GLICs and their top management. This includes but is not limited to:

-Build, cultivate, manage and foster good relationships with Customer's key decision makers.

-Draw up and execute a business development plan aligned to the Bank's strategy.

-Track and monitor the portfolio of the specialized areas and provide regular update to management.

-Responsible for the specialized area portfolio growth and performance.

-Identifying and acquiring new high-value clients. Develop marketing strategies to capture those new targets.

-Generating new business opportunities through networking and referrals.

-Lead cross-selling initiatives and upselling bank products and services.

.To spearhead any special projects as assigned

Respond, as requested, to ad-hoc requests from the management.

Managerial

.Analyzing market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.

.Developing strategies to expand the bank's customer base.

.Identifying and cultivating relationships with potential clients.

.Maintaining a deep understanding of the bank's products and services

.Conducting regular performance reviews and providing constructive feedback

.Translating the bank's overall sales strategy into actionable plans.

Ensuring the team adheres to compliance and regulatory guidelines

Organizational Strategic Cost Management and Financial Goals

.Ensure alignment to organizational transformation for respective region.

Provide leadership to promote group unity and business opportunities within Hong Leong Group of Companies

Education/Qualification

Degree or equivalent

Experience

.Experience in banking with strong marketing skillsets

.Knowledge in financial analysis, business and industry knowledge, market intelligent, effective

communication, negotiation, supervisory and managerial skills.

.Possess a good reputation in the market place with a strong client network.

.Ability to establish new relationships and work closely with Public Sector Clients
