The Hospital Aide (HA) carries out assignments under the supervision and direction of the Department Manager and Staff Nurse. She/He is responsible for assisting the doctors in the clinic.
- Attend to patients / visitors promptly with courtesy
Schedules patients appointments for next Doctors consultation, procedure, and treatment- Responsible for the cleanliness of clinics
Chaperons doctor during physical examination of female patients
- Retrieves / dispatches case notes, C'Rays and laboratory results. All case notes must be available before the patient can see the doctor
Responsible for printing request forms and make available other forms eg admission order, consent form, etc.- Ensure that all charges for Doctors Consultation and procedures are done before sending back patients
Maintains department daily census
- Run errands when necessary
Participates in hospital QA activities- Participates in hospital in-house training programs especially on customer service
Undertake other duties and tasks as delegated by superior
