Role Description The Hospitality Intern is a full-time, on-site position based at Cosmo Hotel Kuala Lumpur in Ampang. The intern supports day-to-day front-of-house and guest service activities, including welcoming guests, assisting with check-in and check-out, and responding to guest inquiries. Responsibilities may include supporting food and beverage service, coordinating with housekeeping and other departments, and helping to resolve guest issues in a timely and professional manner. The role involves maintaining a clean and orderly work environment, updating records or logs as needed, and following hotel policies and procedures. The intern will learn standard hospitality practices, build customer service skills, and contribute to a positive guest experience under the guidance of supervisors.

Qualifications

Strong customer service and hospitality skills, with a genuine interest in creating positive guest experiences.
Effective communication abilities, including clear verbal interaction with guests and team members.
Basic understanding or interest in food & beverage operations and hospitality service standards.
Ability to work full time on-site in Ampang, including weekends and shifts as required.
Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in hospitality, tourism, business, or a related field is preferred.
Professional demeanor, reliability, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in English; additional language skills are an advantage.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with common office or reservation systems are beneficial.
