Job Description

We are looking for a Hotel Manager to lead Wyndham Grand i-City in i-City, Shah Alam, Selangor.

This role provides overall leadership for hotel operations, commercial performance, guest experience, and people leadership. We are looking for an experienced hospitality leader who can drive results, build strong teams, and uphold Wyndham brand standards.

Responsibilities

Hotel Leadership & Guest Experience

  • Provide overall operational leadership across the hotel to deliver excellent guest experience and consistent service standards.
  • Lead the HODs, set clear priorities, and ensure disciplined execution of SOPs and brand standards.
  • Drive guest satisfaction actions by reviewing feedback, service recovery, and quality outcomes with HODs.

Operational Performance & Controls

  • Monitor key hotel performance indicators (e.g., occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, guest satisfaction) and follow up with the relevant HODs on corrective actions.
  • Ensure controls and compliance are in place for audits, brand QA, safety, and local regulatory requirements.

People Leadership (through HODs)

  • Coach and support HODs to build strong teams, improve engagement, and maintain a respectful workplace culture.
  • Support performance management, recognition, and succession planning with HR guidance.

Asset Care & Safety Oversight

  • Oversee preventive maintenance and asset care through Engineering and Operations.
  • Ensure safety, security, and emergency readiness standards are maintained.

Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in hotel operations (e.g., Hotel Manager / Resident Manager / Operations leader). Wyndham or international brand experience is an advantage.
  • Degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with experience managing hotel performance and financial results.
  • Comfortable working with hotel systems and performance dashboards (PMS, POS, revenue systems, reporting tools).
  • Willing to be based in i-City, Shah Alam.
