We are seeking a Hotel Manager with a strong international luxury hotel or resort background, who brings polish, presence, and genuine passion for hospitality. This role suits a leader who is naturally engaged on the floor, highly articulate, and confident representing a refined, boutique luxury brand.

Working closely with Soori HQ and ownership, the Hotel Manager will play a pivotal, hands-on role in shaping guest experience, operational excellence, and team culture in a highly personalised setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily hotel operations with visibility, responsiveness, and precision
• Deliver a seamless, intuitive guest journey reflective of 5-star international standards
• Partner closely with Soori HQ and ownership on strategy, standards, and performance
• Maintain a calm, assured presence with guests and team alike
• Oversee financial performance including revenue, cost control, forecasting, and cash flow
• Foster a culture of accountability, service excellence, and continuous learning
• Inspire and develop a small, dedicated team aligned with Soori's values
• Represent Soori Penang with professionalism and discretion at all times

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience within 5-star international hotels or luxury resorts
• Exposure to boutique or small-scale luxury operations preferred
• Naturally presentable, articulate, and confident communicator
• Highly hands-on, detail-oriented, and operationally strong
• Passionate about luxury hospitality and personalised service
• Comfortable working closely with ownership and aligning with brand vision
• An experienced EAM from a 5-star environment ready for full leadership will be considered
