Job Responsibilities
Oversee local human resources operations, directly manage and guide the existing team to allocate work tasks effectively, and improve overall team delivery efficiency.
Based on business development needs, formulate and implement local recruitment plans in Malaysia, with a focus on talent acquisition for R&D, sales, and functional positions.
Develop and maintain local recruitment channels (such as JobStreet, LinkedIn, headhunters, and university channels), enhance recruitment efficiency, optimize candidate experience, and be responsible for interview evaluations, salary negotiations, and the hiring process for key positions.
Manage the full-cycle employee processes including onboarding, probationary period, transfers, and resignations. Handle employee inquiries and labor disputes, fostering a positive and healthy team atmosphere, and improving employee satisfaction.
Visa/Work Permit Management: Responsible for the application, renewal, and cancellation of work visas (EP/WP/DP) for foreign employees (especially Chinese employees), ensuring all procedures comply with the regulations of the Malaysian Immigration Department and the Ministry of Human Resources.
Labor Law and Social Security Coordination: Deeply understand the Malaysian Employment Act 1955 to ensure company HR policies are compliant. Maintain effective communication with local social security agencies (PERKESO, KWSP, HRDF, etc.) and complete submissions and payments on time.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree or above, with at least 3 years of comprehensive HR experience in Malaysia. Candidates with a background in electronics technology, semiconductors, consumer electronics, or manufacturing are preferred.
At least 2 years of team management experience, with the ability to effectively guide subordinates to achieve work goals.
Proficient in Malaysian labor laws and related employment regulations, capable of independently handling employee relations and mitigating labor risks. Familiar with the application processes and details of various work visas in Malaysia, especially for Chinese employees.
Hands-on experience in dealing with local social security and government agencies (PERKESO, KWSP, LHDN, etc.).
Fluent in Mandarin Chinese (listening, speaking, reading, and writing), with proficiency in English or Malay as a working language to communicate with local teams and government agencies.
Highly self-motivated, proactive, able to work under pressure, and skilled in cross-cultural communication.
