The Recipe for Success: Role Summary
As HR Manager of Southeast Asia, you will be the key strategic HR advisor to the leadership team, partnering closely to shape and deliver the people agenda in line with Le Creuset's global values and growth objectives. This role blends strategic influence with hands-on execution, ensuring a high-performance, engaged, and values-driven workforce. You will be responsible for driving HR strategy execution, strengthening organizational capabilities, and ensuring operational excellence, while navigating a dynamic and highly competitive retail environment. You will lead the HR topics including talent management, organizational development, employee engagement, and HR operations to support business success.
Ingredients: Key Responsibilities
- HR Business Partnering & Organizational Support
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and retail management, contributing to business decisions through a people lens.
- Translate group and Asia HR strategies into effective local execution aligned with business priorities.
- Partner with leadership team to align people strategies with commercial objectives and retail expansion plans.
- Support organizational design, team structure, and workforce planning.
- Provide HR support on employee relations, performance management, and leadership challenges.
- Lead organizational change initiatives and support leaders through transitions with coaching and clear communication.
- Talent Development & Capability Building
- Drive talent development initiatives, including succession planning, high-potential identification, and capability building.
- Support the development of retail and office talents in line with Le Creuset's culture and expectations.
- Partner with group and regional teams to implement learning and development programs.
- Promote a culture of continuous feedback, growth, and engagement
- HR Operations & Process Excellence
- Ensure smooth HR operations including onboarding, contracts, employee lifecycle management, etc.
- Coordinate HR initiatives balancing global frameworks with local nuances.
- Optimize HR processes to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and strong employee experience.
- Support HR systems (HRIS) usage and data integrity, leverage data and reporting to provide insights on people metrics and trends.
- Drive consistency and compliance with group policies while adapting to local labor regulations.
- Employee Engagement & Culture
- Champion Le Creuset's values and foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging working environment.
- Support and implement employee engagement initiatives across office and retail teams.
- Act as a culture ambassador, ensuring teams remain connected to the Brand's heritage and identity.
- Manage sensitive employee relations topics with fairness, consistency, and professionalism.
- Rewards & Performance Management
- Partner with the group & Asia Rewards to implement compensation and benefits frameworks within the region.
- Support salary review processes, incentive programs, and performance cycles.
- Ensure fair and consistent application of reward principles across markets.
- Provide insights on workforce trends, retention, and engagement drivers
The Perfect Blend
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (postgraduate qualification desirable).
- 8+ years of progressive HR experience, including 3+ years in a senior HRBP or HR leadership role.
- Solid experience as HRBP covering organizational development, employee relations, talent acquisition and management, performance management, HR operations, etc.
- Strong understanding of retail and/or consumer-driven environments.
- Strong understanding of employment legislation and HR best practices.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems and data reporting, able to interpret HR data and translate insights into business actions.
- Demonstrated capability to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders.
- Agile and adaptable, able to operate effectively in a multi-cultural environment.
- Ability to navigate complex organization structures and drive strategic HR initiatives.
- Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated computer literacy, and experience working with MS Office, and strong Excel skills.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
- Proven high command of English is required, knowledge of other languages is a plus.
