Responsibilities
- Ensuring all payroll activities, results and processes are compliant with company policies and statutory requirements.
- Ensure all payroll activities are executed timely and accurately including the filing of monthly, quarterly and annual regulatory reports.
- Exploring opportunities to simplify and automate payroll processes to ensure maximum cost-efficiency and effectiveness.
- Monitoring the performance of vendor against our Service Level Agreement.
- Participate in retrospective and performance review meetings with the payroll vendor.
- Monitor and manage the payroll vendor to ensure monthly payroll payout is accurate and on schedule.
- Validating test results provided by the payroll vendor for the rollout of new compensation and benefits programs or new statutory requirements.
- Support internal and external auditors ensuring deadlines are met and each request control, approval and validation checks are in place for the payroll processes.
- Coordinate and perform troubleshooting and investigations of payroll issue/problems and taking appropriate corrective actions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Human Resources, Accounting and/or Finance.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of Payroll operations knowledge or practical experience in HR/Payroll; regional HR/payroll experience in a multinational environment is an added advantage.
- A team player with a pleasant personality, good attitude and the ability to work independently.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion.
- Strong sense of commitment and urgency to meet tight deadlines.
- Good spreadsheet skills especially in Excel.
