Job Purpose
To actively source and recruit local and foreign workers to support retail operations, manage manpower planning, and ensure sufficient staffing across all outlets while supporting company policies, operational controls, and workforce management systems.
Key Responsibilities
Active Recruitment & Manpower Sourcing
- Proactively source candidates through job portals, walk-in recruitment, referrals, and social media.
- Conduct daily candidate screening and interviews to ensure fast hiring.
- Organize walk-in interview days and recruitment campaigns.
- Maintain a strong candidate pipeline to avoid manpower shortages.
Foreign Worker Supply Management
- Source and coordinate foreign workers through approved recruitment agencies.
- Maintain relationships with agencies to ensure continuous worker supply.
- Manage documentation for work permits, visas, and renewals.
- Monitor foreign worker attendance and address cases such as absconding (MIA).
Manpower Planning
- Work closely with Retail Operations to forecast staffing needs for each outlet.
- Ensure vacancies are filled quickly to maintain operational efficiency.
HR Policy & Discipline Support
- Implement company policies and employment contracts.
- Assist in handling staff disciplinary cases when necessary.
Workforce & Attendance Management
- Support the implementation and improvement of staff attendance and time-tracking systems.
- Monitor attendance records and identify patterns of absenteeism or lateness.
- Recommend solutions to improve workforce attendance control and reporting.
Reporting
- Prepare weekly updates on recruitment progress, manpower status, and vacancies.
- Track hiring sources and recruitment effectiveness.
