Assist the Senior in the full spectrum of HR functions, including compensation and benefits (payroll), manpower planning, training, employee relations, industrial relations, regional country matters, and other HR-related matters.
Assist the Senior in developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and practices to ensure compliance with company rules, good corporate governance, and proper control/coordination of job accountabilities and performance results.
Ensure compliance with legal requirements affecting the HR function (e.g. Employment Act, Industrial Relations Act, EPF, SOCSO, EIS, HRD Corp, and other statutory regulations).
Investigate employee issues and grievances and follow through until resolution.
Assist the Senior in administering and managing the annual performance management process, including performance and salary reviews, and preparing proposals.
Work closely with Heads of Departments (HODs) to understand their needs and provide HR support when required.
Manage regional country HR matters and ensure alignment with corporate guidelines and local labour laws.
Assist the Senior in handling foreign worker matters such as work permit applications, renewals, and related documentation.
Actively participate in employee engagement initiatives, welfare programs, and internal events.
Prepare and submit HR reports required by Management.
Requirements
Diploma/Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum 23 years of HR generalist experience
Good understanding of Malaysian labour laws, statutory requirements, and HR compliance.
Experience in handling payroll checking, employee relations, performance management, and HR policies.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with all levels of employees.
Able to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
Proactive, organised, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Experience in foreign worker administration or regional HR support is an added advantage.
