Our Client is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to support their growing manufacturing operations. This role will focus primarily on Talent Acquisition, Talent & Development, and Compensation & Benefits. The successful candidate will play a key role in building a strong talent pipeline, developing organisational capability, and ensuring competitive and compliant people practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition
- Lead end-to-end recruitment for white-collar and operational roles within the manufacturing plant and corporate functions.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand manpower planning, workforce needs, and hiring priorities.
- Develop and execute effective sourcing strategies, including employer branding initiatives and local talent pipelines.
- Manage recruitment vendors, agencies, and campus hiring where applicable.
Talent Development
- Design and implement learning and development programmes to support leadership, technical skills, and workforce capability.
- Identify training needs in collaboration with business leaders and align development plans with business objectives.
- Support succession planning and high-potential talent development initiatives.
- Drive performance management processes and employee capability building.
Compensation & Benefits
- Manage compensation and benefits frameworks to ensure market competitiveness and internal equity.
- Support annual salary review, bonus exercises, and incentive programmes.
- Ensure compliance with local labour laws, statutory requirements, and internal policies.
- Work closely with payroll and finance teams on compensation-related matters.
HR Operations & Stakeholder Management
- Act as a key HR business partner to local management and operational leaders.
- Prepare HR reports, analysis, and presentations for regional and China-based stakeholders.
- Work closely with HR counterparts in China to align HR policies, processes, and initiatives.
- Support HR projects and initiatives as assigned by the HR Director.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of HR experience, preferably 5 years within the manufacturing or industrial sector.
- Strong hands-on experience in Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, and Compensation & Benefits.
- Solid understanding of local labour laws and HR best practices.
- Fluency in Mandarin and English is required to effectively communicate with the HR Director and China-based counterparts.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and organisational skills.
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced, operational environment.
