About The Role

Reports to: Strategic Business Partner, Supply Chain

As an HR Business Partner Executive - Suppy Chain, you will partner closely with Supply Chain leaders to drive people strategies, strengthen organizational culture, and deliver impactful HR solutions that support business performance. Reporting to the Strategic Business Partner, you will act as a trusted advisor, translating business needs into practical HR actions across the employee lifecycle. This role operates in a dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing and operations environment, requiring strong stakeholder management, adaptability, and hands-on execution.

What You'll Do

1. Business Partnership

  • Partner with Supply Chain leaders as a trusted HR advisor across key areas including performance management, talent development, employee relations, engagement, and organizational effectiveness
  • Support the execution of HR strategies aligned to business objectives and operational priorities
  • Contribute to change management initiatives, including transformation and process improvement projects
  • Ensure adherence to HR policies, labor laws, and company standards across Supply Chain operations

2. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

  • Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to support end-to-end hiring for Supply Chain roles
  • Support workforce planning discussions and manpower requirements
  • Manage employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, transfers, and offboarding

3. Talent & Development

  • Support the execution of performance management cycles, ensuring consistency, fairness, and developmental outcomes
  • Coordinate learning and capability-building initiatives (e.g., EDGE agenda) for Supply Chain teams
  • Partner with SBP, COEs, and functional stakeholders to identify training needs (technical and leadership)
  • Support succession planning and internal talent mobility across operations

4. Engagement & Culture

  • Drive employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture
  • Support engagement surveys, feedback mechanisms, and action planning
  • Champion company values and culture across shift-based and operational environments
  • Support change and communication initiatives within Supply Chain

5. Employee Relations & Compliance

  • Manage employee relations and industrial relations matters, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies
  • Support grievance handling, disciplinary processes, and union-related matters where applicable
  • Maintain constructive relationships with union representatives
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, company policies, and collective agreements

6. Data & HR Insights

  • Track and analyze HR metrics (e.g., attrition, absenteeism, hiring, engagement)
  • Prepare reports and dashboards to support decision-making for HR and Supply Chain leadership
  • Use data-driven insights to identify trends and recommend improvements

7. Safety & Governance

  • Partner with QSE teams to promote a safe and compliant work environment
  • Support audits, investigations, and compliance checks (including third-party workforce where relevant)
  • Ensure proper documentation and HR record-keeping

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Professional HR certification is an added advantage
  • 3–5 years of HR experience, with exposure to employee relations and/or business partnering
  • Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or industrial environments is highly preferred
  • Proven experience working with line managers on operational and people matters
  • Strong command of English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across different levels of the organization
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment
  • Good understanding of labor laws, employee relations, and industrial relations practices
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to leverage data for decision-making
  • Resilient, adaptable, and able to navigate ambiguity and change
  • High level of emotional intelligence with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to guide managers on people-related matters
