Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced HSSE Advisor (Consultant) to support our oil & gas servicing operations on a project basis. The consultant will play a key role in advising, developing, and implementing HSSE frameworks, policies, and campaigns aligned with industry standards and client requirements.
This role is ideal for a hands-on HSSE professional with strong consultancy experience who can quickly assess project needs and deliver practical, compliant HSSE solutions.
This is a consultant based position offering daily rate of pay.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide HSSE consultancy support for specific projects and operational scopes
- Develop, review, and implement HSSE policies, procedures, and management systems
- Design and deliver HSSE campaigns, initiatives, and awareness programs
- Conduct HSSE risk assessments, hazard identification (HAZID), and job safety analyses (JSA)
- Support project teams in meeting client, regulatory, and industry HSSE requirements
- Advise on HSSE compliance with local regulations and international standards
- Participate in audits, inspections, and incident investigations as required
- Prepare HSSE documentation, reports, and performance metrics for management and clients
- Provide HSSE coaching and guidance to site personnel and project teams
Requirements & Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 810 years of HSSE experience within oil & gas or oilfield services
- Proven experience in HSSE consultancy or project-based roles
- Strong knowledge of HSSE management systems and industry standards (e.g., ISO 45001, ISO 14001, API, OSHA)
- Professional HSSE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, CSP, or equivalent) preferred
- Experience in developing HSSE campaigns and safety culture initiatives
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to different project environments
- Willingness to travel or work at project sites as required
