Serve as the strategic and operational HR Business Partner to assigned business units across the company, translating business priorities into people solutions that enable growth, agility, and regulatory compliance in a fast-moving digital financial services environment. The role is accountable for the end-to-end HR agenda of its client groups, spanning organisation design, talent management, employee relations, and people risk.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted adviser to Functional Heads and leadership teams, aligning people strategy with business, product, and technology roadmaps.
  • Lead organisation design, workforce planning, and capability-building initiatives to address current and future workforce needs, including scarce digital, data, technology, and risk talent.
  • Drive culture integration and leadership alignment across a hybrid start-up and regulated operating environment.
  • Introduce innovative, data-driven HR practices that strengthen a high-performance, customer-centric, and agile culture.
  • Lead Performance Management, Talent Review, and Succession Planning cycles for the assigned population, including key and critical roles.
  • Partner with business leaders on talent attraction, retention, and leadership pipeline development in a competitive talent market.
  • Coach line managers on performance conversations, career development, counselling, and disciplinary matters.
  • Own the HR budget and key people metrics for assigned units, including headcount, hiring velocity, attrition, engagement, and cost per hire.
  • Manage complex employee relations matters and conduct thorough, objective, and timely investigations.
  • Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation, ensuring compliance with applicable employment legislation, data privacy requirements, and regulatory expectations.

About You

  • Minimum 8-10 years of progressive HR experience, including proven resolution of complex employee relations cases.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline; MBA holders are encouraged to apply.
  • Broad HR generalist expertise across compensation, organisation diagnosis, employee and industrial relations, performance management, employment law, and talent acquisition.
  • Experience in digital businesses, technology, fintech, financial services, or other fast-paced, highly regulated industries is highly preferred.
  • Strong risk management mindset and familiarity with regulatory and governance requirements.
  • Strong business acumen and consulting skills, with the ability to engage credibly with senior business leaders.
  • Excellent influencing, negotiation, stakeholder management, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-directed and proactive, with the ability to anticipate business needs and recommend practical solutions.
  • Comfortable working in ambiguity, managing shifting priorities, and adapting quickly to evolving business needs and structures.
