Job Description

Job Title: HR Business Partner (HRBP) - (APAC Region)

Budget: MY: RM8,000 per month

Work Mode: Hybrid

*Based in Malaysia, with occasional travel to Singapore

About the role:

We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner (HRBP) to oversee and manage HR functions for our Malaysia campus, supporting operations across the APAC region. The ideal candidate will have 3-5+ years of relevant HR experience, with a strong focus on recruitment and HRBP responsibilities. This role requires a proactive, strategic HR professional capable of partnering with leadership to drive HR initiatives and support organizational growth within the APAC region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with campus leadership and regional HR teams to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives across the APAC region
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for the Malaysia campus and regional hiring needs
  • Support onboarding, orientation, and employee engagement initiatives
  • Provide guidance on performance management, employee relations, and retention strategies across APAC countries
  • Ensure compliance with Malaysian employment laws and regional HR policies
  • Assist in payroll management and statutory reporting requirements in Malaysia and other APAC countries
  • Promote a positive workplace culture and employee development across the region
  • Handle employee communications, satisfaction surveys, and exit interviews
  • Support HR projects related to organizational development, talent management, and regional initiatives

Qualifications:

  • 3-5+ years of HR experience, with demonstrated expertise in recruitment and HRBP functions within APAC
  • Knowledge of Malaysian employment laws and HR practices, with regional HR awareness
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple countries
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office tools
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Malay, Chinese, or other APAC languages is a plus

Working Model:

This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, combining both on-site presence at our Malaysia campus and remote work, providing flexibility to balance work and personal commitments.

Based in Malaysia, supporting the broader APAC region, with occasional travel to other countries as required

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday: 9.00pm - 6.00pm

Saturday and Sunday: off
