The Human Resources Executive (Compensation & Benefits) will be responsible in providing support and assistance in daily operations in relation to compensation & benefits include but not limited to the following:
- Assist in administering compensation & benefits and performance management exercise
- Maintain records and compile statistical reports concerning personnel-related data such as transfers, performance appraisals, and absenteeism rates
- Advise staff on specific entitlements and explain employment standards and legislation where needed.
- Ability to interpret HR policies and ensure employees understand and comply with them
Payroll
- To provide the updated data for payroll processing before the cut off date (absenteeism, leaves, transfer, allowances, and disciplinary issues etc)
- To process the whole payroll system
Performance Management
- Probationary Review -Coordinate and manage the orientation of new employees, process probationary reviews, employee evaluations and terminations
- Update compensation and benefits packages
- Implement performance review procedures
HR Metrics & Analytics
- Collect and analyse data to measure attrition and retention rate for different departments, positions and the entire company
- Collect and analyse data on staff medical leave and medical expenses for the company
Medical & Insurance Benefits
- Ensure all employees are covered under the plan
- Manage the issuance of medical outpatient card & insurance for GHS card
Statutory Compliance
- Act as the point of contact for labor legislation issues
- Carry out employment and work practices in compliance to the Employment Acts such as employment terms, minimum wage, overtime pay, hiring and termination and leave policies, etc.
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Human Resource or equivalent
- Familiarity with Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS)
- Proven working experience in the Compensation & Benefits
- Strong analytical skills and good in Mathematics
- Good communication and writing skills in English
- Intermediate/Advanced level in Excel
- Hardworking and high commitment in completing job assignments
- Able to commence work within short period of time
