We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Executive to support our Human Resources operations across headquarters and regional branches. You will play a key role in delivering end-to-end HR functions, including recruitment, training & development, and HR policy compliance.
Training & Development
- Coordinate, plan, and administer training programs aligned with organizational goals and competency frameworks
- Partner with department heads to identify training needs through skills gap analysis and performance reviews
- Develop annual training plans and track training effectiveness through feedback and evaluation metrics
- Liaise with external training providers, negotiate programs, and ensure high-quality and cost-effective delivery
- Maintain training records and ensure compliance with internal and statutory training requirements
HR Policy & Compliance
- Ensure full compliance with the Employment Act 1955 and other relevant Malaysian labour laws and regulations
- Maintain, review, and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook in line with legal and organizational changes
- Provide guidance to employees and management on HR policies, disciplinary matters, and best practices
- Support audits and ensure proper documentation for compliance and governance purposes
Recruitment
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes including job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding
- Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand manpower requirements and hiring timelines
- Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to attract quality candidates
- Conduct interviews and coordinate selection processes to ensure a smooth candidate experience
- Oversee onboarding processes to ensure new hires are effectively integrated into the organization
Talent Engagement & Retention
- Support the design and implementation of employee engagement initiatives, including surveys, activities, and feedback sessions
- Assist in developing and executing retention strategies to improve employee satisfaction and reduce turnover
- Monitor employee morale and provide insights or recommendations to management
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and high-performance work culture aligned with company values
HR Administration
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal data, contracts, and HR documentation
- Prepare HR reports, dashboards, and analytics to support management decision-making
- Ensure timely processing of HR documentation such as confirmation letters, transfers, and other employee lifecycle changes
- Support payroll coordination and ensure data accuracy for salary processing
- Deliver efficient and high-quality HR support services while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in any related field
- Minimum 3 years of HR experience, preferably covering multiple HR functions. Prior experience in oil & gas will be an added advantage
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian Employment Act and labour laws (an advantage)
- Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle confidential information
