The Human Resources Executive (HRE) plays a vital role in supporting the organisation through the development and implementation of human resources strategies and programmes that provides an employee-oriented, high performance culture.
The HRE is responsible for providing support in the various human resource functions, which include compensation & benefits, recruitment, staffing, performance monitoring and employee counseling.
To be successful in this role, you should have an extensive background in Human Resources departments and thorough knowledge of labor legislation.
General HR Management & Function
Oversee daily operations of the HR department
- Assist in administering a wide range of HR matters in areas such as manpower planning and recruitment, compensation & benefits and performance management exercise
- Maintain records and compile statistical reports concerning personnel-related data such as hires, transfers, performance appraisals, and absenteeism rates
- Process and follow up appointments, reassignments, promotions and other HR decisions which generate personnel administration actions in a timely and thorough way, being sensitive to the human dimensions involved and tailoring actions accordingly.
- Advise staff on specific entitlements and explain employment standards and legislation where needed.
- Ability to interpret HR policies and ensure employees understand and comply with them
Payroll
- To provide the updated data for payroll processing before the cut off date (absenteeism, leaves, transfer, allowances, and disciplinary issues etc)
- To process the whole payroll system
Recruitment, Selection & Onboarding
- Manage the recruitment process and ensure candidates fit the role and company culture
- Implement effective sourcing, screening and interviewing techniques
- Create and run referral incentive programs
- Measure employee retention and turnover rates
- Ability to monitor the whole recruitment process till onboarding
- Conduct and coordinate with hiring manager to ensure timely recruitment, interviews, orientation and training and development of employees.
Performance Management
- Probationary Review -Coordinate and manage the orientation of new employees, process probationary reviews, employee evaluations and terminations
- Design compensation and benefits packages
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Human Resource / Psychology
- Familiarity with Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS)
- Good knowledge of labor legislation (particularly employment contracts, employee leaves and insurance)
- Proven working experience in the Compensation & Benefits, Recruitment
- Good communication and writing skills
