Job Description

RED is an expanding international M&E consultancy, with a proven track record in low energy design, focused on providing excellent design solutions to clients.

We now seek an experienced HR Generalist to be based in our KL office to inspire others. You will have the ability to run small and large sized projects, undertake a client facing role in the development, design, and co-ordination of engineering projects You will have experience in the delivery of data centres along with other sector experience including commercial, hotel, retail, and hotel design desirable.

Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both with colleagues and clients, and experience working on innovative projects with leading client organisations, and contractors will equip you to take a future pro-active role in forging client relationships of our sector portfolio.

You will possess good commercial awareness, in addition to having robust technical knowledge relevant to building services design, and capable of incorporating those technologies into the hotel / hospitality and leisure sector. The position will ideally suit someone who is currently working in building service consultancy and is prepared to work hands on.

Job Description

  • Manage end‑to‑end HR operations including onboarding, offboarding, transfers, and employee records.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee HR queries and provide timely, accurate guidance.
  • Maintain HRIS data accuracy and employee documentation in compliance with company and legal requirements.
  • To provide support and assist in the administration of HR through document management and filing and delegated responsibility from the HR team.
  • Assists in maintaining employee information by entering and updating employment and status-change data.
  • Coordination, administration, follow-up, reporting and validation of policies and processes relating to the employee journey, including paperwork relating to hiring, benefits, leaves, contracts, visas/work permits, and absences (with a global and regional view)
  • Maintain and update accurate HR records and data and ensure processes, procedures and documents are up to date and in line with global and local employment law and legislation
  • Manage and coordinate all claims and applications with statutory boards (HRDF, EPF, MyTax, LHDN, PERKASO and ESD portal)
  • Manage Corporate health insurance
  • Assists in maintaining HR Systems and processes
  • Assists with the implementation of company policies
  • Assists in the daily management of human resources process and document preparation and filing, including the administration of recruitment, agency liaison, induction, training & development, PDRs, etc.
  • General typing duties including compilation and updating of staff records into an online management system
  • Assist in the implementation of Quality Assurance processes and policies in respect of HR tasks
  • Drive communication to employees and managers via bulletin boards, online and other regular communication
  • Perform day to day HR operations matters – new employee onboarding, claims, insurance, payroll related matters, HR policy and handbook updates
  • Assist with employee mobility issues
  • Shared management of the central HR mailbox
  • Coordinate recruitment activities including job postings, interview scheduling, and candidate communication.
  • Support hiring managers with interview processes and offer administration.
  • Payroll management and administration
  • Updating of HR documents and templates
  • Assist employees with HR relates queries
  • Other adhoc assignments as required

Experiences / Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a Human Resources Administration role (essential)
  • Degree qualified or equivalent HR qualification (desirable)
  • 3 years working experience within a HR environment
