About Agroz Group

Agroz Group is a leading indoor vertical farming company focused on sustainable agriculture and advanced cultivation technologies. As part of our growth, we are strengthening our HR capabilities to support a dynamic and fast-growing environment. We are looking for an HR Intern who is eager to learn, contribute, and be part of building a strong people framework for the organisation.

Role Summary

The HR Intern will support day-to-day HR operations and gain practical exposure across core HR functions. This role provides hands-on experience in administrative tasks, recruitment processes, employee engagement, and HR framework development. The intern will also have opportunities to lead mini-projects that contribute to improving HR systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities

1. HR Operations Support

  • Assist with daily HR administrative tasks (employee records, filing, documentation).
  • Support attendance, leave management, and employee data updates in HR systems.
  • Assist in preparing HR letters, memos, and reports.
  • Coordinate office operations such as onboarding logistics and arrangements.

2. Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Support recruitment activities including job postings, resume screening, and interview scheduling.
  • Assist in preparing onboarding materials and ensuring smooth Day-1 experience for new joiners.
  • Maintain candidate and hiring records in an organised manner.

3. Employee Engagement & Communication

  • Support HR-led employee engagement initiatives (festive events, appreciation activities, internal updates).
  • Assist in preparing internal communication materials via Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.

4. HR Framework & Process Improvement

  • Support mapping and documentation of HR processes (pre-onboarding, onboarding, probation, performance tracking).
  • Take part in strengthening HR policies and SOPs.
  • Opportunity to lead mini framework-building tasks under guidance (e.g., onboarding flow, training module setup, process digitalisation).

5.Learning Opportunities

  • Exposure to full HR operations in a growing organisation.
  • Hands-on understanding of HR systems such as BrioHR, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Opportunity to take lead in small HR initiatives and framework improvements.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Diploma/Degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
  • Strong willingness to learn and take ownership of tasks.
  • Good communication and organisational skills.
  • Able to work in a growth-oriented environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace is a bonus.
