Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated HR Intern to join our dynamic Human Resources team. This internship offers a unique opportunity for individuals eager to gain practical experience and exposure to a variety of HR functions. The role will support the daily operations of the HR department, such as employee engagement. As an HR Intern, you will play a vital role in essential activities such as managing employee records, contributing to employee engagement initiatives, and drafting warning letters when necessary. This position provides a comprehensive introduction to HR best practices and offers valuable insights into recruitment, employee relations, and performance management processes, laying a solid foundation for a career in Human Resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Newsletter Preparation: Assist in the creation and distribution of the monthly internal HR newsletter to keep employees informed on HR updates, events, and initiatives.
- Attrition Reporting: Compile and analyse detailed attrition reports across campaigns, tracking trends and providing insights for HR planning.
- Exit Interview Coordination: Support the exit interview process, ensuring smooth coordination and gathering valuable feedback from departing employees.
- Staff Requisition Forms (SRF): Assist in preparing and processing Staff Requisition Forms for new hires and replacements, ensuring accurate and timely submission.
- Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule HR-related meetings, interviews, and other events, ensuring effective time management and coordination across teams.
- Administrative Support: Provide essential administrative support, including answering phone calls, maintaining employee records, and assisting with general office tasks.
- Employee Engagement Support: Contribute to the planning and execution of employee engagement activities and initiatives to foster a positive work environment.
- HR Outsourcing Support: Assist the HR Outsourcing team with various tasks such as tracking and reporting to ensure smooth outsourcing processes.
- Tracker Management: Maintain and update HR-related trackers such as on boarding and sourcing trackers, ensuring the information is accurate and up-to-date.
- Drafting Warning Letters: Assist in drafting warning letters in accordance with company policies and HR best practices, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to procedures.
- Collaboration: Work closely with HR team members and other departments to ensure the efficient operation of HR functions and to contribute to the success of key HR projects.
