The ideal candidate will support the full scope of Human Resources responsibilities and partner with the organization on strategic initiatives. They will maintain and enhance the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies, programs, and practices.
Responsibilities
- Lead, develop and implement a spectrum of HR programs and activities which align with the corporate policies & practices, and comply with all local laws and regulations
- Plan and drive recruitment & selection activities to ensure they are completed in cost-effective manner and on a timely basis
- Coordinate and deliver training and development programs to meet business needs and enhance people's competencies
- Plan and implement a range of compensation, incentive & benefit schemes in accordance with the Group's reward strategy and policies
- Develop and implement EHS policies, procedures and programs in compliance with Malaysian regulations and corporate standards.
- Drive environmental and sustainability initiatives, manage environmental impact assessments and develop strategies to minimize the organization's environmental footprint.
- Promote a proactive safety culture through engagement initiatives, organize regular safety committees meeting and recognition programs.
- Manage and execute other HR activities including but not limited to performance evaluation, organization development, manpower review, employee communication and relations etc, through proper communication and collaboration with other line departments
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
- 5+ years experience in Human Resources
- Strong organizational, critical thinking and communications skills
- Attention to detail and good judgement
- Stationing in Johor, Malaysia is required
