Job Title: Human Resources, Manager (HRBP)

Location: Plaza OSK, Kuala Lumpur

Role Positioning & Objectives

The Manager, HR act as a strategic partner to the business, providing comprehensive HR support to drive the achievement of business objectives. This role involves managing stakeholder relationships, executing HR initiatives, and ensuring effective liaison with Centers of Excellence. This role will have a strong understanding of industrial relations, employee performance management, and will support business strategies. Additionally, the role required to participate in and support HR projects and initiatives and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.

Your responsibilities will be to:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within the businesses. Provide strategic HR to support business objectives and organizational development.
  • Implement HR initiatives that align with business goals, including talent management and employee engagement programs. Work closely with CoEs to ensure effective delivery of recruitment, learning, and development services.
  • Provide guidance on employee relations issues, ensuring compliance with legal and company standards.
  • Support managers in addressing performance issues and implementing performance improvement plans. Foster a high-performance culture through effective performance management practices.
  • Oversee various HR operations, including onboarding, employee records management, and HR compliance.
  • Lead and participate in HR projects and initiatives to drive continuous improvement and innovation within the HR function.
  • Conduct regular reviews and updates of HR policies and procedures to reflect changes in legislation and business needs.
  • Foster a collaborative working environment with cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrate strong decision-making skills to resolve HR issues effectively and efficiently.

To be eligible for this role, you will require:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in an HR Business Partner role or similar capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and industrial relations.
  • Proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships and influence business leaders.
  • Experience in recruitment, learning and development, and employee performance management.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
