The Role
As the HR Manager, you will oversee the full spectrum of HR functions. Your primary mission is to bridge the gap between business objectives and people management. You will be expected to understand our manufacturing processes, identify talent gaps, and drive HR initiatives that foster a high-performance culture.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Business Partnering
- Act as a consultant to the Management Team on organizational design, workforce planning, and change management.
- Align HR strategies with manufacturing goals to improve productivity and employee retention.
2. Full Spectrum HR Management
- Oversee end-to-end Talent Acquisition, focusing on hiring for both technical manufacturing roles and corporate positions.
- Manage Performance Management cycles, ensuring KPIs are meaningful and growth-oriented.
- Drive Learning & Development programs to upskill our workforce in line with industry 4.0 trends.
- Lead Compensation & Benefits benchmarking to ensure we remain competitive in a talent-scarce market.
3. Foreign Worker Management
- Full ownership of foreign worker end-to-end processes: recruitment, permit renewals, housing (hostel management), and compliance with labor laws (e.g., Act 446).
- Manage relationships with labor departments and relevant government agencies.
4. Culture & Engagement
- Champion our young and vibrant culture by organizing engagement activities that resonate with a diverse workforce.
- Maintain a pulse on employee morale and implement initiatives that drive a positive, inclusive work environment.
5. Industrial Relations & Compliance
- Ensure all HR practices comply with local labor laws and manufacturing-specific regulations.
- Handle grievance procedures and disciplinary actions with fairness and professionalism.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 58 years in HR, with at least 3 years in a managerial or Senior BP capacity within the manufacturing sector.
- Business Acumen: Proven ability to understand business operations and translate them into HR results.
- Foreign Worker Expertise: Deep knowledge of foreign worker management and statutory compliance.
- Personality: Passionate, resilient, and adaptable. You should have the energy to keep up with a fast-growing team and the maturity to sit at the management table.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
