Human Resources Specialist (Penang)

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR Specialist to join our growing team in Penang.

In this role, you will manage key HR functions across the employee lifecycle, ensuring smooth HR operations, compliance, and an excellent employee experience.

Responsibilities

Employee Lifecycle Management

• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities
• Prepare employment-related documentation, including employment contracts, confirmation letters, and HR correspondence
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases
• Support employee engagement initiatives and HR projects

Payroll & HR Operations

• Process monthly payroll accurately and on time
• Administer leave, attendance, claims, insurance, and employee benefits
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and income tax submissions
• Manage HRIS records and HR reporting
• Liaise with external vendors and service providers

Compliance & Employment Administration

• Support foreign worker and employment pass administration where applicable
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian employment legislation and company policies
• Maintain proper HR documentation and employee records

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of HR Generalist or HR Operations experience

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience in payroll processing and HR administration
• Good understanding of Malaysia Employment Act and statutory requirements (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB)
• Strong communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Organized, meticulous, and able to handle confidential information professionally
