Mills Recruitment is partnering with a leading data center infrastructure specialist to hire an HVAC Engineer for large-scale data center construction projects in Kuala Lumpur.

You will play a critical role in delivering high-performance HVAC systems for mission-critical data center environments, ensuring quality installation and smooth project execution.

What You Will Do

• Supervise HVAC installation works and ensure compliance with design standards
• Coordinate with contractors and consultants on construction progress
• Review drawings, method statements, and commissioning plans
• Monitor system testing, commissioning, and handover activities
• Support resolution of on-site technical issues

Who We Are Looking For

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of construction experience
• At least 3 years in data center projects
• Experience delivering 15MW+ IDC/AIDC projects
• Exposure to rack delivery (10,000+ racks preferred)
• Experience working with data center contractors or Colocation (colo) operators

Skills and Attributes

• Strong understanding of HVAC systems in critical environments
• Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders on site
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin is essential for internal and external communications
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving ability
